WET GRINDING PLANT WITH CONTINUOUS CYLINDRICAL MILL

Continuous cylindrical millMill main parts are:

  • grinding cylindrical body divided into chambers, complete with heads, charging orifices and support with adjustable bearings;
  • manifold for the slurry discharge made of stainless steel with pre-sieving system;
  • electric control board for the computerized control of the mill;
  • wear-resistant rubber lining complete with inside diaphragm;
  • grinding charge made of silica pebbles or aluminous ceramic balls with a high content of alumina.



The mill drive includes:

a) for powers up to 630 kW

- driving unit with three-phase-induction electric motor, hydrodynamic joint, reduction unit with parallel axis , motor for the positioning of the bushes;

- transmission system by V-belts with "V"-shaped pulleys made on the cylinder belt;



b) for powers over 630 kW

- driving unit with electric motor fed with alternate current at low or medium tension, hydrodynamic joint by variable filling, parallel axis reduction unit with forced lubrication, gear motor with bush positioning;

- transmission system with cylindrical-teeth pinion and crown gear assembled on the cylinder.

COGENERATION SYSTEM

Besides the construction of continuous mills operated by electric motors, ICF suggest a driving unit with endothermic motor which allows to fully use the energy by the recovery in the spray dryer of those energetic forms that would be normally dispersed (discharging gas, motor cooling water and oil).
